It is supposed to be very hot Monday and Tuesday. Please rinse off your ac units with a light stream to get some of the cottonwood off before then. If it isnt cleaned it will cause the capacitor to blow out or unit failure when it’s that hot out.

It’s cottonwood season. Remember to gently rinse your air conditioner periodically to remove the cotton. No direct streams and angle it down. Your ac unit and electric bill will thank you.

I just caught the area’s biggest heating company lying to a customer. Told the customer they needed a whole new system when It only needed a pressure switch tube unclogged. 3 minute service call. Please get second opinions If someone tells you your system needs replacement.

It appears cooling season may be upon us. Maybe. Some tips before you call an ac repair man. Make sure you have changed your furnace filter, uncovered ac unit if you had it covered. (Don’t recommend doing this because it attracts mice) turned system on at thermostat and looked at the coil outside to make sure it’s clean. Wash gently with a hose angled down and not direct stream. Or call for a clean and check. Cottonwood flies in June so clean systems again at the end of June. Call anytime for an estimate or service.
