The PortableConnect® is more than a traditional pedal bike. While a standard pedal bike primarily provides repetitive motion and general exercise, the PortableConnect is designed to support a structured, prescribed rehabilitation program in the home. One, in the beginning the PortableConnect rehab system moves for you. Two, the PortableConnect grows with you, a little every day. Three, youre never on this journey alone. The PortableConnect combines guided therapy with real-time performance tracking, progressive resistance, range-of-motion support, and clinician-directed rehabilitation protocols. This allows patients to complete therapy sessions that are tailored to their recovery plan while helping care teams monitor progress over time. Rather than simply pedaling, patients are participating in a connected rehabilitation experience designed to support consistency, engagement, and continuity of care throughout recovery.

ROMTech® has announced a new press release highlighting how the PortableConnect® Rehab System can help address two significant challenges facing Veterans recovering from knee replacement: distance from rehabilitation services and coordination across VA and Community Care settings.

With approximately 3 million rural Veterans enrolled in VA health care and more than 40% of VA knee-replacement patients in one national study living in rural areas, access to consistent rehabilitation can be a real challenge. PortableConnect brings structured rehabilitation into the home while helping clinicians stay connected throughout the recovery process.
