At Lone Wolf Quality H.V.A.C, my services extend beyond furnace replacements. H.V.A.C stands for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. Below are examples of recent projects I have completed, including an HRV replacement, the installation of an additional return ducts where there were none in the finished basement previously, and the installation of a garage heater. Not all jobs consist of before and after photo opportunities, and pictures of some jobs would have my customers asking themselves what theyβre even looking at. That is why my posts often focus on furnace change-outs due to the before-and-after visuals that showcase my commitment to quality. However, I want to emphasize that not every furnace requires replacement.
For instance, I've recently addressed a furnace that needed a gas valve replacement. I was able to replace the gas valve the same day and restore the furnace to full functionality promptly.
In another case, I handled a service request for a furnace with a failed ignitor. Despite it being 25 years old, I provided the customer with a thorough inspection and informed them that, while their furnace was nearing the end of its lifespan, it was operating as it should for the time being.
Additionally, I received a service call I was able to identify over the phone at no cost to the customer. A dirty filter was the culprit. However, it is important to note that neglecting to change filters regularly can lead to significant problems, such as a clogged evaporator coil, which ultimately will result in a cracked heat exchanger due to restricted airflow.
Service calls can sometimes present challenges for other companies. For example, I was called to a home where another company had recommended replacing a furnace that was only seven years old! The issue was intermittent, with the furnace occasionally ceasing operation but restarting after a short period. Drawing on my knowledge from over a decade of experience, I was able to resolve the issue within 15 minutes. The problem stemmed from an improperly pitched drain line, causing drainage complications.
I have frequently been the second opinion for customers who have received misdiagnoses regarding their equipment, saving them thousands of dollars in unnecessary expenses. I always encourage seeking a second opinion for peace of mind and accurate service.
