A recent transformation of a close quarter kitchen into a modern oasis of style and functionality! Check out the before and after pics of our remodel, featuring sleek white cabinets with warm wood accents, luxurious dark grey Quartz countertops, crown molding throughout, timeless subway tile backsplash, and charming wood plank flooring.

To optimize space, we enhanced the aesthetics and added functionality. We've downsized the window to create more countertop space and added cabinets for extra storage. The pantry got a major upgrade with custom-shaped shelves and LED lighting, Maximizing storage for extra appliances, food, and cleaning supplies.

Elegant bathroom project that extended into the kitchen and continues to grow, as we are currently working on the master suite... (stay tuned for that project).

Highlights:
Electric radiant heat under floor tile, including kitchen
Marble effect porcelain tile continuous throughout kitchen, entryway, hallways and bathroom
Kitchen island was removed an reinstalled to allow for flooring installation
Under-mount tub with a granite top, as well as a floating vanity top and floating shelves to match
Skylights for natural lighting
Auto bidet and warming toilet (tested and approved 😳)
Crystal chandelier

Lake Front Reno:
Complete demo and re-construct with a modern minimalistic style.

Project Highlights:

Frameless Wood-Mode custom cabinetry kitchen and bar with natural quartz stone countertops and installation of Wolf appliances, Sub- Zero Fridge, ice-maker, and beverage & wine cooler.

Demoed original brick fireplace which was structural. Added a column to support roof on the surface of wall. This change made it possible to add a pocket door to master bedroom, to enhance the lake view. LVL beam built to eliminate a post for kitchen to function.

Gas fireplace situated on exterior wall. Roof was extended to allow for fireplace to use less of a footprint in the living room area. A one of a kind floating 2" thick black walnut slab with a curved hearth.

Lux master bath with custom tile shower and black walnut vanity with natural stone top.

The addition of cathedral ceilings in master bedroom allowed for a more spacious feel.

Hand crafted faux beams added in great room, as well as matching valances to enclose electric remote controlled motors/shades for each window.

Shake style interior doors with Craftsman style trim.

A very extensive remodel that tested us on every level. The challenge was well worth it.

Functional upgrade to a high efficiency wood burning insert. After getting the bill for our first fuel oil top off, It was easy to justify; will pay for itself in no time.
The beam was from a local barn that had collapsed, guessing around 150 years old. I just cut it to length and lightly sanded. (Thanks to the Dixon family!)
I found the beam on Tuesday and only had a few nights to add the stone and mantle before our Christmas party on Saturday. I had to burn some midnight oil (better than fuel oil in my opinion).

Dressed up rustic portico entryway.

Major rot repair. Replaced structural framing, as well as dug out perimeter of house. Added French drain/ dry-well to ensure water gets away from the foundation/ siding.
