Our supplier partner, Metatissue, is engineering human protein-derived biomaterials designed to better replicate the native human microenvironment. The new hPCMA platform contains a 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗖𝗠-𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 that goes far beyond conventional single-component biomaterials.

Several types of collagen were identified in hPCMA, including fibrillar collagens (I and III) and non-fibrillar collagens (IV and VI), which may contribute to the 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸-𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 of scaffold materials, respectively. Key glycoproteins involved in 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹–𝗘𝗖𝗠 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 were also detected, including fibrillin, fibronectin, laminin, tenascin-like protein, and fibrinogen. Proteoglycan 2 was identified among the proteoglycans.

𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘶𝘮-𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦 cultivation of adherent HEK293 cells?
PAN-Biotech's 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟵𝟯𝗔 makes it easy!

Panserin 293A is a ready-to-use medium for the serum-free cultivation of HEK293 cells in adherent culture. HEK293 is often used for the expression of recombinant proteins and for the proliferation of AVVs and LVVs. Using Panserin 293A for HEK293 cultivation promotes rapid attachment of the cells and high cell growth rates.

A switch from serum-containing medium to Panserin 293A is often possible without adaptation. For those clones that do not tolerate an immediate switch, we recommend a primary culture with serum containing medium and a stepwise reduction of serum towards a serum-free cultivation with Panserin 293A.
