Check out this “self - contained” 14ft cattle guard w/ custom gate we built and installed in Fayetteville, Tx!

The customer opted to have the cattle guard sit on top of the ground and for the gate to be hinged off the cattle guard wing instead of another post. To make this work, we had to haul in a load of gravel to build up for a smooth transition, and add extra bracing to the cattle guard to keep the gate from sagging.

Huge shoutout to Ledbetter We-do All for finishing out the gate with an automatic gate opener!

And don’t worry…. We took plenty safety measures to ensure our welding didn’t set off any fireworks before July 4th.

16ft x 7ft cattle guard we built and installed over the weekend near West Point, Tx.

Our cattle guards are built to handle extreme weight using 6” channel iron and 2 3/8” pipe for a smooth ride across.

For the install, we use heavy duty concrete beams for a strong foundation for years to come with a 20” - 24” deep hole underneath to prevent cows from walking across.

Head out to Harmonie Hall in Shelby, Tx for the 68th annual Shelby VFD Fundraiser this Sunday, May 24th.

The event includes bbq pork and sausage plates, a raffle, and a live auction starting at 1pm which will include this 6ft picnic table we built and donated! All proceeds and donations will go towards a new addition to their fire station.
