Water pooling against the house is never a good sign.

This homeowner was dealing with standing water near the foundation and water making its way into the sunroom. We removed overgrown bushes, regraded the area, and installed a French drain system to move water away from the home. To finish it off, we added pea gravel and fresh black mulch for a clean, finished look.

The result? A yard that drains properly and a homeowner who doesn’t have to worry every time it rains.

This project was completed in partnership with Freedom Piercing Payloads, who contracted us to handle the grading and backfill work needed to protect this home from future water intrusion.

After the homeowner had their crawlspace vents sealed, we regraded the backfill around the foundation to help divert water away from the house. We added 2 tons of dirt to rebuild the eroded areas, graded everything away from the foundation, and compacted it to create a stable, long-lasting surface. To finish the job, we installed a heavy-duty barrier and refreshed the repaired areas with mulch for a clean, finished look.

The result is improved drainage, a more secure foundation, and added peace of mind for the homeowner.

We demolished and hauled off the original structure, regraded the area, and installed a brand-new wall that matches the house trim color for a clean and modern boost in curb appeal.

This job started out with a basic wall install — but during the project, our client decided to update the design for a more elevated and leveled space. That change meant we needed to bring in extra dirt, build the wall higher at the low end, and grade everything to a clean 1-inch slope.

Once the new structure was in place, we laid landscape fabric for w**d prevention and topped it with 4 inches of certified playground mulch. The result? A durable, level play space that’s built to last and made for fun.

Phase One: Complete! ✅
We kicked off this project by grading and prepping the area for a future playground install. The original slope had an 18 inch drop in some spots, which we reduced to just 6 inches to create a safe, level surface for installation.

Next up: Phase Two 🎯
We’ll be installing the retaining wall, laying the mulch base, and finishing with a fresh layer of mulch once the playground is in place.
