As the demand for skilled labor continues to grow, our foundation is dedicated to investing in the next generation of workforce talent. We provide financial support to recent high school graduates pursuing trade schools across all industries, bridging the gap and opening doors for diverse career paths.

We’re proud to share the recent improvements at Rotary Park in Casa Grande made possible through a great partnership with Rotary Club of Casa Grande and support from Rotary District 5500.

This project gave new life to several areas of the park, including a refreshed basketball court with official court lines added for the first time, a newly painted ramada, and additional seating.

Projects like this are a great reminder of what can happen when local organizations come together to invest our community.

Throughout his tenure, Howdy has built a reputation for his trusted leadership, strategic mindset, and ability to connect high-level organizational goals with day-to-day field operations. In this new role, he will oversee company-wide operations, aligning our people, projects, and resources to drive efficiency, productivity, and continued growth. His leadership will play an important role in strengthening how we deliver for our clients and support our teams across Southern Arizona.

Safety doesn’t happen by chance; it starts with strong leadership, high standards, and a daily commitment to protecting our teams. Supporting that work is our partner safety firm, OSHA Phoenix LLC.

Led by father and son Walter Aguierre and Walter Aguierre Jr., OSHA Phoenix LLC works with EMC to oversee and develop our safety initiatives. Together, they create training programs that meet the demands of our projects, align with industry best practices, and support the safety of our growing teams.

Walter Aguierre focuses on overall safety strategy and program development, while Walter Jr. works directly in the field, leading hands-on jobsite training and supporting crews to reinforce safe work practices where they matter most.

From classroom instruction to field support, they work closely with our teams to help keep our jobsites, people, and the public safe.

As part of Construction Safety Week, we’re highlighting a current project installing new infrastructure within a busy Queen Creek roadway.

Work like this involves more than what’s visible at the surface. Crews are installing thousands of feet of waterline and conduit in shared trenches, using both open-cut and trenchless methods, all while maintaining continuous water service to the town. When working near major roads, safety extends far beyond the trench. It includes traffic control, utility coordination, constant communication to protect both crews and the traveling public.
Most people never see what’s happening below the pavement they drive on every day, but every decision is made with safety as the priority.
