Project Update | Cape Fear Academy School Expansion

Work is underway on Cape Fear Academy’s 8.5-acre school expansion in Wilmington, NC. Led by project manager Connor Coupland, our team is currently cutting the turf field down to subgrade, exporting excess material, and installing stormwater infrastructure.

Next steps include installing water and sewer utilities, as well as additional stormwater measures to support the building expansion. We’re proud to work with Cape Fear Academy as its campus continues to grow.

Project Update | Turtle Creek Phase 1 Section 1

Work is nearing completion at Turtle Creek Phase 1 Section 1 in Surf City, NC. Led by project manager Hayes Gerrard, our crews are finishing hydroseeding throughout the site and continuing off-site road improvements as we work through the final stages of the project.

Spanning 45 acres, Turtle Creek is a single-family and multifamily development for LDI Commercial that has included extensive sitework and infrastructure construction to prepare the property for future development.

Proud of the progress our team has made as we bring another project closer to completion.

Project Update | Seabreeze Village

Progress continues at Seabreeze Village, where our crews are advancing site development on this 7.28-acre commercial project in Wilmington.

Led by John Harrell, the team is currently installing curb and sidewalk while laying and grading aggregate in preparation for paving. Located at the corner of Seabreeze Road and Carolina Beach Road, just before the Snow’s Cut bridge, the project is laying the groundwork for future commercial development.

We appreciate the hard work of our field crews as they continue delivering quality work safely and efficiently.

Project Update | Harmony Heights

Progress continues at Harmony Heights in Northwest, NC, as our crews advance underground utility work for this 60-acre single-family residential development.

Led by Ben Fuller and William Bailey, the team is currently installing the gravity sewer system, with this week’s efforts focused on setting a lift station—critical infrastructure that will support the future community. We’re proud to be partnering with Burt Exum Company on this project and appreciate the opportunity to help deliver the essential sitework that lays the foundation for long-term growth in the region.

Our Myrtle Beach team was honored to help make 3-year-old Malakai’s wish come true. With a love for construction, his wish was to spend the day on a real job site.

With the help of our foreman, Jeromie, Malakai climbed into a mini excavator and a skid steer, learned about the equipment, and enjoyed plenty of construction toys. His excitement made the day unforgettable for everyone involved.

Project Update | Wilmington Health

Progress continues at the Wilmington Health expansion project in Midtown Wilmington, led by Joby Hawn. We’ve completed Phase 1 and recently wrapped up earthwork for Phase 2.

Next, crews will move into storm drainage and curb installation as we continue partnering with Monteith on a new healthcare facility and parking lot expansion. The new building is being constructed to match the existing Wilmington Health facility on site.

Aberdeen Storage Facility | Project Update

Led by Jimmy Godfrey and Jake Vetter, crews have completed site clearing and are now focused on pond excavation, site grading, and building pad preparation. Storm drain installation will begin soon as work continues on this 5-acre mini storage project.
