Aberdeen Storage Facility | Project Update

Led by Jimmy Godfrey and Jake Vetter, crews have completed site clearing and are now focused on pond excavation, site grading, and building pad preparation. Storm drain installation will begin soon as work continues on this 5-acre mini storage project.

Sea Glass Harbor | Project Update

Progress continues on this 20-acre residential neighborhood located on Carolina Beach Road. Led by Joby Hawn, crews are currently cutting subgrade and completing phase one erosion control.

Next steps include beginning 40K+ yards of import and starting lift station installation.

Sweetgrass at Abbey Preserve | Project Update

Progress continues at the 115-acre Sweetgrass at Abbey Preserve site in Scott’s Hill, NC. Led by Hayes Gerrard, crews are actively clearing and balancing earthwork for Phase 1, which includes 79 single-family lots.

Proud to be working with Mungo as this community begins to take shape. Up next, installation of a 29’ lift station as infrastructure efforts continue.

Happy Friday from the field! Momentum remains strong at the 19-acre Publix Calabash site for WIMCO. Crews are fine grading and paving access roads while finalizing water services and roof drains as the project advances toward its next phase.

In just nine months, strong coordination between utility and grading teams — alongside Hwy. 17 improvements — has kept this project moving at an impressive pace.

Terrapin Phase 3 | Terrapin Community

Work continues on this 31-acre single-family development with an amenity area, led by Charles Taylor. Crews are finalizing low-pressure sewer, pre-testing water, and installing storm infrastructure, with curb and stone to follow behind tested utilities.

With four crews working together to keep progress on track, we appreciate the continued partnership with LDI Commercial as this phase advances.

Progress continues at the 7.28-acre Seabreeze Village commercial site under the direction of Project Manager John Harrell. Our team has completed installation of the stormwater pond and is now bringing up the corner lot in 1’ lifts to prepare for future development.

This four-parcel site is being positioned to support future commercial growth and provide expanded access to businesses for the Carolina Beach community and surrounding areas.
