Nothing feels quite as surreal as being this close to meeting our first baby girl🤍

As we head into these final days, we’re getting ready to step into a season that will look a little different for us both personally and with Abodie.

Once she’s here, things may be a little quieter on social media and responses may take a little longer as we adjust to life as a family of three and give ourselves space to really soak it all in.

There will likely be some shifts in what day-to-day roles look like for us moving forward too, including how we approach design work, and we’re excited to share more about that when the timing feels right.

For now, we’re enjoying these last few days of anticipation before we finally get to meet the little girl we’ve been waiting for!

Behind the design of the boys bath at 5th Ave Revamp!

This space was a good example of working with what was already there instead of starting completely from scratch.

We kept the existing floor tile, trim, and some of the original character, then layered in more updated details with a new vanity, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and shower tile.

It gave the bathroom a much more current feel without replacing every single finish in the room.

Sometimes the best remodel decisions aren’t about changing everything. They’re about figuring out what’s worth keeping and where the updates will make the biggest impact!

Something about October always makes home feel a little extra special🍂☕️

Slower mornings, earlier sunsets, dinners at home, windows cracked open just enough, and all the little spaces you’ve spent the year creating suddenly getting used a little more.

One of our favorite parts of designing homes is thinking about how they’ll feel in every season, but fall might just be our favorite!

One of those things you see on a job site but might not know the reason behind 👀

Water control is a small but important part of demolition. Keeping materials wet helps control airborne dust, keeps the site cleaner for the crew and surrounding properties, and can help reduce fire risk while everything is coming down.

There’s a lot more happening on demo day than just knocking down a house!

5th Ave Revamp kitchen, afters → befores 🤍

One of the biggest changes here wasn’t just what we selected, it was how we used the space.

We took what would have been an unused formal dining area and opened it up to the kitchen, making room for a 12’ island and creating one large space the family can actually use every single day.
