Mud ,ceiling paint mixed together then lightly sprayed over smooth ceilings. No need to paint it l! Plus its hides any flashing or imperfections that usually showes through painted ceilings. I use a high pressure gh230 graco paint sprayer. Best looking ceilings ive ever seen. It gives you that flat ceiling look that most people want. Call Cline
