Started a new project, not completely done yet but this was done before the crazy weather we are having. Dropped a tree, excavated the bad dirt and root system. Added a retaining wall and eventually additional drain system to prevent the rain water from seeping in to the lower building.

Fun fact: Forestry mulching is a property improvement that also helps prevent soil erosion. Proactive forestry mulching can reduce stress on trees that are caused by crowding and make them less susceptible to attack from invasive species. Additionally mulching invasive species can help to control the spread of invasive plants, insects and fungus. Mulching also aids with pasture restoration, raises PH levels and lowers soil acidity, making it a benefit to the soil in addition to creating a more desirable landscape.
