We don't celebrate Father's Day in the Jewish/Hebrew tradition.Let me explain why...
One of the 10 commandments is 'honor father and your mother.'
That means that even if you disagree with your parents, you still have a commandment from G-d to honor your parents.
The fact that they gave birth to you, is the only merit they need to earn your respect.
In a world of entitlement, it's a refreshing way to look at parenting.
We don't celebrate Father's Day as an official day, because every day is supposed to be Father's
Day or Mother’s Day
By the way, if the day is what inspires you to call your Father , just know that on that call, you are fulfilling one of the highest commandments there is.
