Cozy Charlotte Cottage: This house was a whole-home remodel, investor flip where we redid everything—all-new kitchen, bathrooms, HVAC, flooring, and paint—and we crossed the finish line in just 3.5 months. The “before” featured a rundown and dangerous situation- with impractical layouts and holes in the ceilings and walls. But after an extensive demo, our team created a cozy cottage in the heart of Charlotte.

May 1 is the feast day of St. Joseph the Worker, whom you may recognize from our logo. So in honor of that, we wanted to take a moment to share what that means to us!
JMJ Construction is named after the Holy Family- Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.
For us it’s more than just a name, it’s what our whole company is based on. St. Joseph was a carpenter and a tradesman, and an example to us of how to love and glorify God through everything he did. In Nazareth, the carpentry of Christ and St. Joseph modeled how good work, done well, is a holy thing. Our business is founded on the same values of humility, trustworthiness, and honesty, and we seek to sanctify our families, employees and clients through the simple work of construction.

Our hope is that our company will be a school of virtue for us, just as much as Joseph's workshop was for the Holy Family!

Filling a Niche: Whatever your niche, JMJ Construction can help fill it! Any style, any color, any customization, we work hard to make it look good.

The cool colors and clean lines of these bathroom renovations are examples of how our team brings visions to life. This project involved a master bath and guest bath renovation. Each bathroom was fitted with new vanities, mirrors, toilets, and lights. A shower tub insert was installed in the guest bathroom. In the en suite, tiled floors led into the mosaic tile of the curbless shower floor. The shower itself was lined with gray marbled tile, laid in a vertical pattern. The shower was outfitted with custom glass doors with a smooth glide, and an oversized shower niche with matching tile, laid in a classic herringbone style. Brushed nickel finishes completed the look of both bathrooms.
