Nineteen trillion dollars sits in IRAs today, almost all of it in public stocks and bonds. But a retirement account actually wants contracted income, decades-long duration, inflation protection, and returns that don’t move with the market, and solar infrastructure checks every one of those boxes. It’s also a strong fit inside the tax wrapper itself: distributions can compound tax-deferred (or tax-free in a Roth).

About 70% of Energea’s IRA investors choose to reinvest their monthly distributions, and that single choice could roughly double the balance over 25 years.
