We believe strong communities are built through strong partnerships. Thank you to the Chester Rotary Club for the opportunity to share more about CCNGA and the work we do to serve our customers and community.

At our June 2, 2026 Rotary Club meeting, Rotarian Jason Stewart provided an informative update on the Chester County Natural Gas Authority (CCNGA) and the many ways it serves our community.

Jason shared that CCNGA serves more than 8,000 customers, with 94% being residential. While residential customers rely on natural gas year-round, the county's industrial businesses account for more than 90% of total natural gas usage, making CCNGA the third-largest public natural gas authority in South Carolina. Careful planning and management have helped keep natural gas rates stable and affordable for residential customers, even as demand peaks during the winter months.

Beyond providing reliable energy, CCNGA is committed to giving back. Over the past year, the Authority has donated more than $75,000 to local charities and community organizations, demonstrating its ongoing investment in Chester County.

Jason also highlighted the products and services available through CCNGA, including natural gas and propane grills, tankless and traditional water heaters, and other gas appliances. He concluded with an important safety reminder: Always call 811 before you dig to help prevent damage to underground utility lines.

Proud to support the Chester County Chamber Clay Shoot fundraiser — and proud our team brought home the win for CCNGA! 🏆👏

Thank you to everyone who supported our annual Chamber Clay Shoot fundraiser today at Rocky Creek Sporting Clays! Each year, this event helps us honor a different group through our community appreciation program, and this year we are proud to celebrate our healthcare workers.
