See IG Story / Highlight and make your IG account secure ASAP.

If you have a team working on your social, this will be annoying. But if you choose to ignore IG security, you are at risk of being the 1 in 4 getting hacked and losing your IG DAILY.

Oh, and consider starting a podcast—where people go to actually get filled up these days. When’s the last time someone felt GOOD about spending 45 min on IG? Literally never. Just my opinionated 2 cents.

ALL of my friends from college are engineers. None of them can write. They can hardly talk. Social skills are definitely not our strong suit, us engineers.

Yet, writing has always been an escape for me. I often wonder how on earth I was blessed with an outgoing personality, written and verbal communication skills, AND the ability to math and science your socks off.

🤷🏼‍♀️

I can honestly say I’ve found a sweet spot for my zone of genius. Every day I get to pour into a client through copywriting or content creation, creative design, or lean into my engineering brain and develop new and improving systems to help my client’s create a systemized, smooth experience for their clients!

Everyyyyy time I set up a new freebie funnel for a client (think free quiz, masterclass, course preview, etc.), they ask me if they should back the promotion of the freebie with an ad.

There are SO many questions I ask after that.

First, do you have an active FB business page? Do the people engaging with you look something like your soulmate clients? Do you regularly engage with your IG and FB following? What is your IG story reach compared to your overall followers (%)? How frequently do you show up on IG stories? What does your email marketing look like? Are you other products and services sold out?

THE LIST GOES ON.

I am personally not a fan of dumping hundreds of dollars into facebook ads because...even the best ads person can only control so much.

The biggest PRO as I see it: You CAN target your audience (if you have a lot of boxes checked before stepping foot into the FB ad world)

The biggest CON as I see it: organic growth still leads to the largest probability of an engaged use monetizing with you.

So it’s been almost two months since I announced that TCA is no longer “open” on Friday’s...and let me tell you...A LOT has changed!

Here’s what’s opened up for me since setting (and sticking to) some pretty legit boundaries:

1️⃣ I am MUCH more creative. I have downloads for clients flying at me left and right and I am LOVING leaning into the content creation that comes from that.

2️⃣ I’ve innovated WITHIN my business. Taking downtime has actually given me MORE energy to work on the things I’ve been dying to improve in my own business.

3️⃣ I am cooking again! I mean..I never stopped, but I was just sticking to the basics. I am finally back to cooking in my beloved cookbooks (if you don’t own these...RUN to buy them now! DM me for links).

4️⃣ My s*x life is better. I’m not afraid to say it. My husband is a HAPPY camper ⛺️.

5️⃣ I make more time for my friends. And I am actually able to be PRESENT when I am with them because I now know what it feels like to be in “off” mode.

The list goes on...and it feels GOOD.

MY FAVORITE FEATURE!

By a long shot….automations.

Kajabi’s automation feature is very robust. I love it because I can architect almost ANY funnel I can think of using automations (rather than Kajabi’s in-house “Pipelines” feature..which I hate btw…).

They can create wildly malleable warm lead segmentations.

I can customize notifications and automatically generate reports that would otherwise take me multiple minutes to create manually.

Am I speaking gibberish to you?! I’d love to optimize your Kajabi platform with automations. Give an engineer a pile of sticks and watch what they create…

What I learned from my clients in Q3:

💛 Goal setting starts now.
❤️ Boundaries are respectable.
💙 Your independent contractors should be invoicing you.
💜 Picking one thing to focus on is a-okay (and serves you well).
💚 You’re worthy of raising your prices.
🧡 Changing the way you offer your services is scary, but when it benefits the greater good, it’s also beautiful.
🤍 You get to define your version of wealth.

You don’t show up consistently on IG Stories.
You don’t spend time doing IG engagement.
You don’t like infographics.
You don’t like quotes.
You don’t like carousel posts.

BUT... you DO like selling out your services & booking new clients. 🤷🏼‍♀️
