It’s been quiet over here for a while as we’ve been working on some big changes. Today some exciting news from MINBAL:
As of September 1, Doug Malone has taken over as owner of the studio. With this change in ownership comes a new name, JAMDEK.
Over the past year or two I have transitioned from doing primarily engineering work into more writing, producing and composing. I brought on Doug as studio manager last year to help administer day-to-day operations of MINBAL. He’s done a fantastic job and cares about the studio and its clients as much as I do.
This transition has been something that the two of us have worked extremely hard on over the past four months. Doug and I share the same vision for the kind of creative music-making environment the studio provides, and I know I am leaving it in very capable hands. As we complete the transition from MINBAL to JAMDEK, our goal is to maintain smooth operations for the studio’s valued clients and engineers.
