Greg Mohr, an outstanding keyboard player & Contemporary Christian song writer, has been traveling back and forth from the Syracuse, NY area to NEWSONG Recording, here in Churchville, NY, for the production of two new contemporary Christian albums, “Ready For The King” and “Humble My Heart”. Each album will contain 12 titles. Greg does not plan on being the main vocalist for these albums and may be looking locally for male and female vocalists to cover the leads and background vocals for the songs. Minister Rodney A Wilkinson was in the studio last week to record an interview style YouTube video describing the inspiration for his Audiobook series, the Bible In Rhyme.
Minister Wilkinson just finished Volume 4, in which he put the stories of 1st Kings, 2nd Kings, 1st Chronicles and 2nd Chronicles of the Old Testament to Rhyme. This audiobook series is educational, highly entertaining and lead you back to the Bible to refresh your memory of the original stories. These productions are complete with background music and sound effects. The physical audio books of Volume 1 and Volume 2 (2 CD jewel cases) are currently available on eBay, but soon will be available for streaming download on all major streaming sites. You will be blessed by this unique presentation of the stories of the Bible!

Bryan Gonzalez and Josiah Ball, Christian Rappers, were in the studio last week recording the vocals for their new song "Never Gonna”. Here at NEWSONG we love all genres of Christian music and are blessed by the diversity of God's people and the diverse ways in which our Lord speaks to us, meeting us just where we are. I look forward sharing a link to the final song when it’s ready!

NEWSONG Update!! Ross Cirri was recently in the studio recording his next song, On A Gospel Note, for his upcoming album, Don’t Mean Nothin. Ross is a Blues artist with a strong spiritual side. This new song is a perfect addition to the album with its personality and its introspective ability. We can’t wait to share the full and completed album once it is done! It will be an outstanding follow-up to Ross Cirri’s first NEWSONG album, South of the Pearly Gate. Stay tuned to follow the rest of Ross’s journey with NEWSONG Recording!

NEWSONG Recording is pleased to report that Ross Cirri’s album, South of the Pearly Gates continues to gain popularity on the major streaming sites! Since its release a little over a year ago, Ross Cirri’s album continues to rack up streaming downloads, and listens, on all the major streaming sites like Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music and many more. It even received an outstanding review in the June 2021 issue of Vintage Guitar Magazine. Check out Ross's Vintage Guitar Youtube Video as well. Although this is primarily a Blues album, it has a strong spiritual center and speaks to the pressing issues of our time. The song, Blood Red is particularly relevant, reminding us that we're all members of the same Human Race. Check it out! Ross is currently in the studio working on his next album, Don’t Mean Nothin, to be released later this year. The new album will feature guest guitarists, Tommy Bianchi of the Coupe De Villes, Darryl Omahem of Shred 7, and of course the outstanding vocals, guitar and song writing of Ross himself. We can’t wait to release the new album, but in the meantime, check out Ross’s first NEWSONG Recording release, South of the Pearly Gate.
