Crossroads Building Rehabilitation Begins

The LaFayette Town Board wants to let our fellow residents know that construction work at the Crossroads Building (aka, former hotel) will begin the last week of February.
The work is the first phase of work, referred to as stabilization. It will include the removal of the porches on the north side, repair of the roof, and installation of new windows and exterior doors. This phase is expected to end before June, after which, the new owners (John and Kate Morgan) will initiate the second phase of work. Another communication will be released when that phase is ready to begin.
Please be cautious when driving or walking by the construction, as the eyesore in the LaFayette Hamlet transitions to a beautifully revitalized building that represents part of LaFayette’s history.

As we wrap up the year we would like to recognize the Burdick Family at Drivers Village. We had the opportunity to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly renovated children’s section at the Baldwinsville Public Library that honors Maryella and Elizabeth Annal. It was an amazing experience to witness our work being enjoyed by so many. Very proud to have been apart of such a fun project that was for a good cause.

Shout out to our project superintendent at the Emerald Cocktail Kitchen, Spencer, on creating a unique solution for their new establishment. This door will now separate two different sections of the rooftop bar as well as adding some extra security.
