The sun rose ten years ago this morning to an apocalyptic atmosphere. The river would recede around 9am. By noon we already had people wanting us to get them a new furnace or AC. It was literally and figuratively a flood of work that fell in our lap.

It didn’t take long to figure out it was more than just a side gig. Mendy agreed to handle all the phone work, so I quit my day job and never looked back.

Fast forward ten years, hundreds of units installed, thousands of service calls ran, 160k miles traveled mostly in a 20 mile radius, and a lot of great people met along the way that otherwise I’d never known. It’s been a great ride!

There are pros and cons to everything and while I won’t say we haven’t had aggravating days, I would not change a thing. The experience has afforded me time, time with family I’d never had otherwise in my middle age years. The time I was able to spend away with my terminally ill father was the greatest reward of this experience.

We thank the community for ten years of opportunity and we hope this can continue on for another ten or more!

A lot of calls this morning where gas furnaces are off. Be sure to cycle power on and off (resetting it) before you call for service. It may come back on. We believe there are some gas pressure issues related to a peak in demand. Save yourself $100-$200.

Just ONE electric space heater can draw 75-100% of the capacity in a typical 110v electric circuit. Make sure they are plugged into a wall outlet and the only thing on that circuit.
