The previously installed unit had a mini condensate pump that was leaking , improperly installed, and started failing causing water to pool into the line set insulation. The pooled water rusted out the bending springs and was deteriorating the copper connections causing a leak point. Due to components discontinued, we made quick work of installing a new Daikin inverter ductless with properly torqued press flare connections and routed a straight shot drain line under and out the porch foundation so it can be properly cleaned in the future.

Maintenance isn’t always simple.
When a system gets this dirty, getting it back to baseline can mean removing and chemically cleaning the coil, disassembling the outdoor unit, replacing the drier, pressure testing, evacuating, and recalibrating the refrigerant charge.
Routine maintenance twice a year can help prevent buildup from getting this far.
Start maintenance early. Stay consistent. Avoid costly deep cleanings later.
