Congratulations to the Mountain College Class of 2026.

We were honored to see Mike Kendrick, president of Climax Molybdenum, serve as keynote speaker for its commencement. His message connected Colorado’s 150-year story to the graduates stepping forward today, reminding us that progress has always come from people willing to meet big challenges with open minds, hard work and collaboration.

From Leadville’s mining roots to modern commitments to stewardship and community, Mike shared how prosperity and responsibility move forward together. Most of all, he encouraged graduates to find the problems worth solving and build the teams and solutions that will shape Colorado’s next chapter.

Congratulations, graduates. Your future is bright, and Colorado is in good hands.

We were honored to once again host the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy at the Henderson Mine. Students got a firsthand look at the scale and complexity of our operations while exploring the critical connection between responsible resource management and national defense. We are proud to welcome this group each year in support of developing the next generation of national security leaders.
