A few things worth doing while there's still time to fix them. Run the heat for a full cycle and walk the house, because a room that never warms up is much easier to solve now than on the day. Check the filter, since more people and more cooking means more work for it. And pay attention to any smell that lingers rather than fading after the first burn.

Some furnace sounds are normal. Others are asking for help.
