Yes, It’s beyond COLD 🥶
We are experiencing “below design” temperature’s for Michigan Furnaces. They will be running frequently and indoor temps above 70 will struggle to maintain. The goal right now, is to help keep the furnace working at a pace that will allow it to keep up with the negative outdoor temps.

Key Points to help your furnace out:
-> Replace Furnace Filters
-> Keep Furnace and Water Heater vents clear of snow (around and inside the vent)
-> Don’t forget keeping the Gas Metors and Propane Regulators clear

Gong into these crazy low temps, you may need to throw on some warmer clothes and grab the fuzzy socks you got for Christmas VS. turning the furnace up 😉

With temps dropping and possibly the coldest in 6 years. We have some suggestions to keep warm. Make sure your furnace filter is clean, this will allow the furnace to work at its capacity. We will be at or below design temp for our area, so furnace will run often and for long periods of time.. This will be normal with these temps. Make sure gas meters, regulators, and vent pipes are free of ice and snow. Stay warm and safe!

Happy Father's Day!!

The heat wave is officially starting, below are some tips to keep you cool and more comfortable during the upcoming week.

*Replace your furnace filter
*The outdoor unit needs to breathe, so trim the area around the unit and wash the outdoor unit with water.
*While it's off, hose the unit down to remove the cottonwood that accumulated on it.

As a reminder: The design temperature is 74 degrees for indoor, so if you are trying to reach 68 degrees it may struggle to do so - do your best to be patient and let the unit work.
We will be doing our best to keep up with any problems that may come up.

Well winter and some cold temps are on the way. With that being said make sure your furnace filter is clean. The amount of snow can also affect you furnace vents. Make sure the pvc furnace vents are clear. Keep safe out there and for all the winter fun enthusiasts it's finally coming.

It's been an exciting couple weeks! Coopersville Heating & Cooling was awarded Business of the Year from the Coopersville Athletic Boosters. The support this town has for their schools, the athletics and their local businesses is beyond amazing. This award sure means a lot! It brings joy to actively be apart of such a great community! Thank You to the Athletic Boosters!!

On that note, it's also time to change your furnace filters and clean any debris surrounding and including the actual condenser. It's as easy and taking a garden hose and washing it in a downward motion. Michigan summer is approaching fast. Time to get ahead of the game and prepare for turning the A/C on.

Well we have some cold weather and lots of snow on the way as well as Santa. This is a reminder to replace furnace filters, and with all the snow expected keep furnace and water heater vents clear of snow. This is also true with gas meters and propane regulators.
