Customer wanted a covered parking area for their van, so we got to work. D&S Custom Concrete handled the concrete, and we took care of the rest.

During the project, the customer also decided to replace the existing failing retaining wall, giving the property a much-needed upgrade in both function and appearance.

At the same time, we were also completing another fire restoration project finished in December. This one involved a motorhome fire that spread to the home—definitely a tough situation. We’re proud to have helped restore the property and get everything back on track just in time for Christmas.

This is an ongoing project with many moving parts, but we're pleased to report that we took advantage of last week's clear weather to complete the final section of the roof. We demoed the old chimney thats no longer in use & replaced all rot that was caused by poor flashing around said chimney. The previous sections were handled by a different contractor. To ensure a cohesive and professional finish, our team also replaced all the ridge cap, addressing a previous poor installation and matching the new section perfectly.

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented professional to assist with various remodeling projects, including interior and exterior work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

● Perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, drywall, door and window installation, and finish work.
● Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications.
● Install, repair, and maintain structures and fixtures.
● Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety regulations.
● Collaborate with the team to complete projects on time and within budget.

Requirements:

● Proven experience as a carpenter in residential remodeling.
● Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods.
● Proficiency with hand and power tools.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
● Pay is based on experience.
● Qualified candidates must be able to prove their knowledge.
