Working on my birthday… and honestly, I’m perfectly fine with it 😂 I really can’t see myself doing much else anyway.

At least this job had a seat, so I got to weld in luxury for once 🤣 And to top it off, the owner was super nice and hooked me up with a free birthday dinner.

Could be worse — another year older, still burning rods, still getting it done. 🎉🤘

🔥 SOME OF THE BEST OPPORTUNITIES IN THIS INDUSTRY START WITH A HANDSHAKE AND A CONVERSATION.

My wife and I had a great time at the Safety Plus 361 Grand Reopening!

I got the chance to meet and talk with a lot of great people in the industry—pipeline welders, fabricators, creators, business owners, and people developing products specifically for welders. It was nice being able to slow down for a little bit, talk shop, exchange ideas, and make some new connections.

I also had the opportunity to meet the guys behind Lazy Fox Remotes and learn more about the different remotes and features they offer. One thing that really caught my attention was their newer setup that gives you the ability to pulse TIG while running an engine drive. It’s not the same high-frequency pulse you’d get from a dedicated inverter TIG machine, but having that extra control over your heat when working with thinner material in the field is a really cool option.

Mind Your Business Success Agency was also there, and I was glad I got the chance to introduce them to the people at Safety Plus 361. Hopefully that introduction leads to something good for both of them.

Running Mad Cow Industrial Welding LLC has taught me that business is about a lot more than just getting the next job. It’s also about building relationships, sharing knowledge, supporting other businesses, and connecting good people with good people.

Having my wife there beside me and getting to experience all of it together made the day that much better.
