HVAC Makeover 6 -Condenser Coil Repair

AC struggling right as South Texas heat is creeping in? ☀️

On this job in Corpus Christi, we found a leak in an older R-22 condenser coil and gave the homeowner multiple options—repair, partial fix, or full replacement.

They chose the repair, and we got to work.
Bypassed the damaged coil rows, cleaned everything out, pressure tested the system, and got it back up and cooling again.

Is it brand new? No.
Is it running, cooling, and ready for summer? Yes.

That’s the goal:

Airflow matters more than most people realize.

This customer wasn’t cooling properly, had high electric bills, and uneven airflow throughout the house. The issue wasn’t the system size, it was the duct design.

We installed a complete hard trunk duct system, sealed everything properly, tested airflow and pressure readings, and made sure each room was receiving the right delivery. We even re-insulated the attic to restore proper R-value.
