At this custom home in Cinnamon Shore, we’re building conditioned living space above an exterior deck. Without the right insulation strategy, that floor can be prone to moisture infiltration, reduce energy efficiency, and create comfort issues over time.

Our solution is a combination of closed-cell spray foam and a continuous air barrier to properly insulate and seal the floor system.

It’s not the kind of detail you’ll notice on move-in day—but it’s one that plays a major role in the home’s performance.
