Progress in the sweet sunshine! We got asked to turn the upstairs into living space one the owners saw the available space. Of course we said yes! The goal is happy clients getting the home they want on the budget they need.

Building a custom home is kind of like a marriage. 💍

It starts with excitement, big dreams, and everybody on the same page.

Then somewhere in the middle… it gets hard. 😂

Decisions pile up. Stress kicks in. Everybody has an opinion.
But if you stick with it — if you trust the process and trust your builder — you end up with something neither of you could've done alone.

This couple and I made it to the finish line together. And their home is absolutely worth every tough conversation we had along the way.

I didn’t grow up wanting to be a businessman.
I grew up wanting to build things.

There’s something about taking raw materials — lumber, concrete, sweat — and turning it into a place where somebody’s gonna raise their kids, host their Thanksgivings, and make the memories that last a lifetime. That never gets old to me.

My name is TJ Pryor. I’m a Corsicana native, and I run Texas Custom Living — a custom home/remodel building company built right here in Navarro County, for the people who live here.

I’m not a big corporation. I’m not a developer throwing up subdivisions as fast as I can. I’m a builder. I answer my own phone. I’m on my job sites.

And when something’s not right, I make it right — because my name is on every single home I build.

2025 blessed us with several great projects that turned into friends not just clients. That is the goal!
