While many of us are familiar with dual land use solar farms - which allow for sheep grazing and bee keeping - agrivoltaics is a new method which allows for crop cultivation in tandem with a solar farm!

Agrivoltaics combines agriculture with electricity generation by farming under a canopy of solar panels! Its a perfect pairing for shade tolerant plants!

in New York State has led to some MAJOR announcements that we would to celebrate!

- Two new transmission lines, that if approved by the Public Service Commission, would bring clean energy to New York City!

- An expansion of the program to 10 Gigawatts of Community Distributed Solar by 2030!

- An Air Monitoring Initiative (the first of it’s kind) to conduct air quality assessments in communities burdened with pollution!

- A “Clean Green Shools” Initiative that provides $59 Million in funding to reduce emissions, and implement energy efficiency solutions in over 500 Pre-K-12 schools!

- A “Regional Clean Energy Hubs” Initiative to provide clean energy solutions, and community engagement, to ensure that disadvantaged communities will benefit from New York’s Transition
