Behind the Scenes: Transforming a Bathroom

Every beautiful space starts with careful planning, attention to detail, and a lot of hard work. We loved taking this dated bathroom and turning it into something timeless and layered — vintage, modern, masculine, feminine, all in one.

Here’s a peek at the process:

Stripping out the old pink tile
Installing black iron wainscoting and subway tile

The original space was wrapped in pink tile and stuck in another era. We reimagined it with a layered design that blends vintage charm, industrial edge, and a touch of bold femininity.

✔ Classic black & white octagon ceramic floor tile — a nod to vintage style
✔ Sleek white subway tile shower with clean glass doors
✔ Modern black wainscoting and fixtures for depth and contrast
✔ Industrial wall sconces + recessed lighting for a warm, functional glow
✔ Butcher block–style vanity top with a vessel sink

🛠️ BLENDING STRENGTH & BEAUTY – From Start to Finish 🛠️

This handrail wasn’t just about filling a space — it was about creating a statement. From the first cut of steel to the final polish on the white oak, every step was intentional.

We fabricated sturdy steel posts and sleek horizontal round rods for a modern, open feel. Then, we topped it with a clear white oak grab rail, adding natural warmth to balance the industrial strength of the steel.

Each stage — from raw material to finished installation — was about precision, durability, and design. The result is a custom piece that feels right at home in this split foyer: strong, stylish, and built to last.

This custom handrail was more than just a project — it was a priority. After their original railing failed, the homeowners knew they needed something they could count on: strong, secure, and built to last — without sacrificing the timeless style they love.

We designed and fabricated a one-of-a-kind handrail using square steel tubing and solid round rod for durability and strength, topped with a red oak rail to bring warmth and traditional character. Every inch was custom-built to fit the unique layout of their split foyer.
