Topic is work boot review Brunt. (Left-Marin’s lined non-safety toe, Middle-Bolduc lined is all they offered at the time composite toe, Right - Marin lined black non-safety toe)

My BRUNT Workwear line up. I had another pair of the Marin’s that lasted me over a year of everyday wear. From working, the store, hunting and everything in between. The brown Marin’s on the left I got on 5/23/23 and have been great so far. I messed up when ordering them though. I wanted the unlined ones and accidentally just reordered the previous pair. Soild work book for sure and super comfortable. I got the Bolduc’s 7/26/22 and am very pleased. I am on roofs a lot and these are right up there with my Cougar Paws steel walker 2’s. The cougar paws are great for on roofs but what I really like about the Bolduc’s is I can wear on and off the roof. The Cougar Paw’s after a while on roof’s do hurt my feet. The black Marin’s came in the mail the other day and I’m going to start wearing them today but won’t work in them just yet. I have 4 plates in my right foot and a screw holding my big toe in place, as well as 3 screws in my left ankle. Safety toe boots/shoes have been a struggle for me because of the screw in my toe. They typically rub and hurt the screw head (Reebok, Red Wing, Keen, Carhart, Doc Martins, Cheap ones, etc) but the Bolduc’s surprisingly have not. I really want a pair of the Bolduc unlined and the Marin with the Brunt toe but those have to wait. The only thing I can say about the Marin’s is both brown lined non-safety toes have seem to wear the heels out after about 6 months. Could be because sometimes, when not working, I don’t always tie them but it’s the only negative thing I have to say. All in all great boots! The price point is far better than any others I have found also. At EGM Construction TX we wear Brunt footwear, TRUEWERK T1 painters pants or T1 overalls (which are amazing and last forever), whatever long sleeve hooded BCG light weight shirt Academy has, and either a EGM Construction TX hat or HUK staw hat. Again can only speak from experience but these Boots definitely deserve some credit.

Did a little road/rut repair with flex base from Denton Sand and Gravel. Picking up another load in a day or so. Customers like this one are the best.

This customer built is oldest son a closet to give him a larger room. We came in hung the drywall, tape and bed, float and skim coat, patched tbe mirror glue holes, textured, primed, installed the door and the hinge light switch. We were suppose to only add base but to give it all a fresh look we replaced 90% and gave it and the doors fresh paint. This customer did the framing and the painting of the walls and did a pretty good job too. Give us a call for anything you need. Just a quick repair for Evergreen when one of their guys hit the bottom of the trim with a mower deck. Great company to do work for. They don’t want the corner cut special, which is not something we do. They want quality repairs for their customers as they provide quality lawn service. Thanks to John Wildsmith and the Evergreen team.

Knocked out this roof patch for one customer and the spare bedroom floor. Not a bad Wednesday.

These ceilings had water damage due to a leaking pipe in the attic. We went to cover a completely different spot and right as we were leaving this office caved in. So we, and the homeowners, cleaned up a good portion and moved their stuff out of the office that night. Went back the next day and started the demo. after demo we found some split and distressed ceiling joists that we leveled and sistered together as well as added some extra supports were needed. Dry wall is up, taped and bedded. Now to sand, level 5 skim coat, prime, texture, prime again then give the the whole place a fresh coat of paint. Will update with pictures once completed. Can’t express how amazing the homeowners have been during this project. Give us a call for all your residential or commercial needs.
