DallasWriter I'm a climate advisor, assisting clients in understanding the impacts of climate change on the environment and human health.

My published articles appear in The Huffington Post, CleanTechnica, Energy Boom & DailyClimate. My opinion pieces regarding the need for a swift shift to wind, solar, wave & tidal power have been printed in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Cape Cod Times, and The Boston Herald. My first clean energy children's book, "When the Wind Blows," was released in 2015 by Holiday House and is availab

le on Amazon and B&N. My second book, "Planet Power: Explore Renewable Energy Around the World," will be released by Barefoot Books this summer. "Planet Power" is a rhyming, renewable energy adventure to six countries - check it out at StacyClarkBooks.com.

“Planet Power: Explore the World's Renewable Energy,” illustrated by Annalisa Beghelli and published last year by Barefoot Books, received a Nautilus “Better Books for a Better World” Award!

Nautilus Book Awards shine a light on books of “exceptional merit that make a literary contribution to green values, sustainability, responsible leadership and positive social change.”

You can order “Planet Power” and “When the Wind Blows” (my first renewable energy book) using the links on my site, StacyClarkBooks.com.

“Planet Power's” printing, binding, shipping and marketing has been carbon offset, thanks to the Clearloop’s solar farm in Jackson, TN. So a book about the environment is helping to grow equitable, clean energy jobs and, along with the other Clearloop partners (see below), is expanding the myriad synergies between sustainable agriculture, climate mitigation, electrical engineering training, and local renewable power projects.

You can find a sampling of my science reporting at DallasWriter.com. My climate advisory is StacyClarkClimate.com.

Today, Joe Biden announces cutting emissions by 50% by 2030, a clear and unequivocal sign that science is back. 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼

It's Climate Week! Look out for my upcoming review of Mark Jacobson's new book, which chronicles his journey from CA tennis Pro to global clean energy pioneer. His story should be a movie, but then, I am kind of biased. I've been following Mark's work since 2010, when he first agreed to let me interview him. So much of what he's taught me is the foundation for my new book, but that's another story...

Getting to talk about renewables, climate, divestment and clean tech with Tom Steyer was truly inspiring. Then I witnessed Verdant Power launch its 5th Generation tidal turbines into the East River and I wrote this Made-in-America story which I hope inspires you:

Affable, informed and determined, Tom Steyer is a champion for a renewable energy-powered economy

It’s been an exciting day on Roosevelt Island.

The new renewable energy economy is here.
