From two separate rooms… to one fully custom gear room built for functionality and style.

We demoed the dividing wall to open the space up, then built custom cabinetry, shelving, golf club storage, hunting gear organization, laundry integration, and plenty of functional storage throughout.

This project was all about maximizing space while keeping the rustic lodge-style feel the homeowner wanted. Clean, organized, and built to last. 👌

Progress underway on this master bathroom remodel in Rockwall, TX.

Our scope on this project includes demolition, installation of the WarmlyYours heated flooring system, floor prep, shower tile installation, and custom frameless shower glass.

Heated floors are one of those upgrades that completely change the feel of a master bathroom — especially paired with a fully custom tile shower. Looking forward to bringing this one to life.

Another full-home transformation underway in Plano. 🔥

This project involved complete popcorn ceiling removal, fresh tape & bed texture, full interior paint, all trim, all doors, and a complete kitchen cabinet refinishing throughout both the first and second floor.

A high-end finish starts long before the final coat of paint. Proper prep, repairs, masking, sanding, and attention to detail are what separate a quick paint job from a true full-home refresh.

Secondary bathroom remodel completed in Lewisville, TX ✨

This is the second bathroom from the same home as our previous master bathroom remodel — designed with a completely different approach.

While the master leaned into darker, moodier tones, this space was built around a lighter, softer feel — incorporating subtle pink tones and warm finishes to create a clean, inviting, and more personalized space.

We focused on keeping the design balanced so it feels elevated and timeless while still fitting the style of the room.

This one was all about taking an outdated layout and turning it into a clean, functional, high-end space.

We leaned into darker tones throughout the space to create a more intimate, elevated feel — pairing rich wall colors with warm finishes and bright tile to keep the room balanced and visually striking.

Master Bathroom Remodel – Precision Behind the Scenes

Before any tile goes on the wall, the most important work happens where you’ll never see it.

This custom shower was built using a complete Schluter Kerdi waterproofing system, and today we’re performing a full shower pan flood test to verify everything is perfectly sealed before tile installation begins.

The entire bathroom floor is also being installed with Schluter Ditra Heat, providing radiant heated floors throughout the space for both comfort and performance.

At Interior Illusions Construction, we focus on building bathrooms the right way — with proper waterproofing systems, premium materials, and attention to detail that ensures long-term durability.

Because in a true luxury bathroom, what’s behind the tile matters just as much as the tile itself.
