Since its inception in 2021, the Rand Community Philanthropic Foundation has been committed to supporting our local heroes – Police, Fire, and Veteran Organizations. The Foundation’s initiatives since 2021 have resulted in almost $75,000 in direct donations to organizations in the Greater-Jamestown, NY region, allowing for the purchase of weapons, protective gear, life-saving equipment, programming, and additional assets that aid in their respective functions.

To continue this growing tradition and support this year’s tournament beneficiaries, we are asking for your support! As a Quality Control Technician, you will uphold the safety of our company and supervise the production process to guarantee that all our products meet quality expectations. Perform regular product evaluations, record inspection results, and recommend improvements to the production process. Quality control inspectors examine products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Read blueprints and specifications.

To effectively support the overall plant quality system as well as working with suppliers and customers to meet company objectives for new product development and improvement of existing product lines. Effectively analyze problems and provide solutions internally and to our external customers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Creation of quality documents and development of Standard Operating Procedures for manufacturing.

· Maintain and revise Quality Assurance Procedures and Instructions as necessary to assure ISO 9001, AS9100 and AS13100 registration.

· Perform internal audits and identify quality system improvements to ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001:2015 & AS9100D).

· Maintain product inspection control plans.

· Identify and determine quality requirements necessary to meet customer needs and expectations.

· Work closely with manufacturing staff to ensure quality protocols are followed and documentation is currently maintained. In addition, implement any new changes or adaptations based on a quality review.

· Complete and submit First Article Inspection documents to customers.

· Maintain and effectively apply knowledge of statistical process control concepts such as variation, control, and process capability.

· Investigate non-conformances and assist manufacturing and engineering teams in determining effective corrective actions.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS 9100D and AS13100.

· Knowledge in statistical process control concepts such as variation, stability, and process capability.

· Experience in the metal cutting and fabrication industry preferred.

· Use of dimensional inspection tools and coordinate measurement machines.

· Effective and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.

JBK Manufacturing is looking to recruit a General Laborer in Dayton, OH.

The General Laborer in Aerospace Manufacturing plays a crucial role in supporting various tasks within the aerospace production environment. This position involves performing manual labor, assembly, and assisting in the overall manufacturing process to ensure the timely and efficient production of aerospace components.

This candidate would be processing parts through automated parts washers that also dry the parts (this is around 92 parts per 4-minute cycle). From there, they will blow dry any excess residual water and move the basket to the pack out table. Parts will then be packaged accordingly.

In addition to this, the 'spider' duties will include loading raw material onto the bar feeder racks, swapping out chip hoppers, and miscellaneous other indirect functions as needed.

· Perform manual tasks related to the assembly and subassembly of aerospace components, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.

· Move, lift, and transport materials, parts, and finished products using appropriate equipment and following safety guidelines.

· Operate basic machinery and tools to assist in the manufacturing process, such as drills, grinders, and other equipment as directed.

· Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and report any defects or deviations from specifications to supervisors.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine cleaning of tools and machinery. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.

· Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or concerns promptly.

· Record production and inventory data as required. Complete necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

· Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

· Participate in training programs to enhance skills and stay updated on industry best practices.

· Be willing to cross-train in different areas of production and adapt to changing priorities as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
