Preflight preparations are underway. We'll have a light breakfast, suit up and head out to the aircraft - "G Force One". The weather has been hot and humid in Central Florida. Yesterday we had a heat index of 105 with an afternoon thunderstorm. So far the weather is cooperating and we're anticipating a 9:00am takeoff time. T-4 hours. Today we acknowledge The Lilly Foundation, Inc., Indiana Wesleyan University School of Nursing and Scholarship Council, Indiana Regional Medical Center (PA) Cardiac and Vascular Services, BoundTree Medical, and of course our families, friends, neighbors, teachers, and colleagues who have been so instrumental and influential in this journey - you are with us in spirit today.
