What is Crawford’s Office Suites and Co-Working space?
-We are excited to be Decatur and Forsyth’s first co-working space. Co-working is a professional, furnished office space designed for people that want a place outside the home to be able to work without having to rent their own building or office. It is like going to a coffee shop except you don’t have to buy coffee and can stay 15 minutes or all day. In addition, there are large desks and comfortable chairs as well as high speed internet.
What is Crawford’s Office Suites like? Will I get my own office?
-For those seeking a great environment at a low ($99.95 per month price), you come in Monday thru Friday between 8am and 6pm. Feel free to take any open desk, couch or chair and stay as long as you need. If your schedule requires you to work at nights or on weekends, you can get our 24/7 access for only $10 a month more. You will receive access to the building to come and go on your schedule.
Do you have anything more private or can I get my own desk?
-In addition to the shared space, we also offer dedicated desks. For $149.95 a month, you will have a desk that only you can use. There will be 2-3 desks in a private room where you can lock the door when you leave. For those wanting a private office, we have those available starting from just $255 a month. For teams or businesses needing larger spaces, we have suites over 5,000 square feet.
I rent conference rooms at hotels. Do you offer those?
-We are pleased to offer private meeting rooms and conference rooms. Our smallest rooms can seat 4+ people with rates starting at $12.00 an hour for members and $20.00 an hour for non-members. Our larger conference room features a 12ft conference table for 12 with seating for an additional 8 people in the room. There is a 65 inch TV for your presentations or screen sharing. In August, we will be opening our 22 person larger conference / teaching room.
How can you provide co-working space for only $99.95 a month? What’s the catch?
-Great question! Think of it like a gym – you can go anytime you like and use any of the equipment. Since each gym member is not at the gym all day, every day, they need less equipment however the members can always use what they want. We are already paying to heat and cool the space. Our gig internet service is able to handle many people at once so you don’t need to pay for your own service. Sharing resources is a win-win. We reduce the expenses and share the savings with you.
It all sounds good but what if I decide it is not for me? How long is the contract?
-With our co-working space, we are so confident that you will love it that we don’t lock you into any contract. Try it for a month and see for yourself.
How long is the contract for on the private offices?
-With our private offices located throughout the building, the lease is for one year. If you decide you want to rent a larger office from us, we are happy to release you from the contract and move you to the new office. Any lease can be terminated with a termination fee.
What is the mailbox service you offer?
-Do you have a small business that you run out of your car, home or other place? We offer you a professional business address. If you rent one of our mail boxes for $25.00 per month, your address will be 5130 Hickory Point Frontage Road, Suite ###X, Decatur, Il. When a potential customer Googles your company, you will appear to be based out of a large, commercial office building. This increases your credibility and sounds much more appealing then a Post Office box.
