Business Development & Client Success Manager

Company: American Property Solutions of Florida, LLC (APS)
Location: Deltona, FL (Hybrid Field & Office Position)
Reports To: Ownership / Operations Management

Position Summary

American Property Solutions (APS) is seeking a highly motivated Business Development & Client Success Manager to drive company growth, maintain strong client relationships, and oversee the successful coordination of work orders from initial request through completion.

This role combines sales, account management, customer service, and project coordination. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder who can generate new business opportunities, maintain existing client accounts, coordinate service requests, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

* Identify and pursue new commercial, residential, multifamily, and facility maintenance opportunities.
* Build relationships with property managers, facility managers, asset managers, HOA representatives, and business owners.
* Conduct networking, cold calling, email outreach, and in-person meetings.
* Attend industry events, trade shows, chamber meetings, and networking functions.
* Generate leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
* Prepare and submit proposals, service agreements, and presentations.
* Meet monthly and quarterly sales goals.

Client Relationship Management

* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
* Conduct regular check-ins with existing customers to identify additional service opportunities.
* Ensure client satisfaction and resolve concerns promptly.
* Develop long-term partnerships that lead to repeat business and referrals.
* Maintain accurate client records and communication logs.

Work Order & Project Coordination

* Receive, review, and coordinate incoming service requests.
* Work closely with operations staff, vendors, and subcontractors to schedule work.
* Monitor job progress and communicate updates to clients.
* Ensure work orders are completed accurately and on time.
* Verify documentation, photos, and completion reports are received.
* Assist with estimating and scope clarification when needed.

Administrative Responsibilities

* Maintain CRM and client databases.
* Track sales activity, opportunities, and client communications.
* Generate reports on sales performance and client activity.
* Assist with contract renewals and service agreements.
* Coordinate with accounting regarding invoicing and client billing concerns.

Qualifications

Required

* 3+ years of sales, account management, property management, construction, maintenance, or related experience.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
* Professional appearance and demeanor.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

* Experience working with property management companies, multifamily housing, commercial facilities, or maintenance industries.
* Knowledge of work order management systems.
* Experience with Jobber, Property Meld, AppFolio, Yardi, RealPage, or similar platforms.
* Existing network of property management or commercial contacts.

Compensation
Base Salary: Approximately $41,600 annually ($20.00 per hour based on a 40-hour work week)
Performance Incentives:
● Commission on new business generated.
● Bonuses for account growth and retention.
● Performance-based quarterly incentives.
● Opportunities for advancement based on performance and company growth.

Success Metrics

The Business Development & Client Success Manager will be evaluated on:
