This is what happens to grease poured dow the drain in both your home & public sewers.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS when you pour fats, oils, and grease down the drain. Missouri recently announced that a grease blockage in the city’s sewage line had caused 10,400 gallons of the sewage to spill into the Missouri River - Fats, oils, and grease should be poured into a sealed jar and placed in the trash bin or taken to a SAFE Center.

Contaminated recycling is worthless, the city needs the money. When in doubt, throw it out! - Put no plastic bags, disposable drinking cups either paper or plastic, or pizza boxes in the bin & separate items, not bagged. Remove styrofoam & bubble wrap from cardboard boxes.
