Digital Literacy Pop-Up Workshops Digital Literacy for the People IDIMDS is a collection of BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) graphic design "Pop-Up Workshops" that teach digital literacy skills.

We empower learners to master necessary digital literacy skills with the outcome of being able to say: "I did it my damn Self!"

Classes are taught using web-based visual design applications with intuitive and uncomplicated User Interfaces (UI) that make it possible to introduce, explore and increase visual design literacy in learners. Workshop practice and instruction center around project-based

, interactive and collaborative exercises to:

+ deepen the learning experience
+ engage students in critical thinking
+ cultivate rich problem-solving skills
+ stimulate creativity
+ build confidence in learning abilities
+ foster a relaxed “can do” learning environment


IDIMDS "Pop-Up Workshops" are taught by Prema Qadir, a retired Civil Engineer with a passion for learning and empowerment. Prema has 20+ years of experience in graphic design, website development and video production. Her favorite teaching scenario is to teach herself an application and then teach others.
