Champ Construction LLC is growing and currently seeking skilled, dependable, and motivated professionals to join our expanding construction and environmental remediation team serving Detroit and surrounding communities. We specialize in residential construction, property rehabilitation, and environmental hazard remediation, and we are looking for individuals who take pride in quality workmanship and maintaining professional jobsite standards.
Positions Currently Available
• General Laborers
• Carpenters
• Painters & Drywall Professionals
• Residential Construction & Property Rehabilitation Specialists
• Lead Abatement Workers
• Lead Abatement Supervisors
• Asbestos Abatement Professionals
• Construction Project Manager
• Licensed Trade Subcontractors (Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Roofing, Flooring, and other trades)
Many of these positions require a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the construction or environmental field. Environmental positions such as lead and asbestos abatement may also require valid State of Michigan certifications and knowledge of applicable safety regulations including EPA, HUD, MDHHS, MIOSHA, and NESHAP standards.

Our Construction Project Manager position includes additional benefits such as the use of a company vehicle, 401(k) retirement plan eligibility after one year of service, and the opportunity to earn a percentage of company ownership after five years of dedicated service and performance.
All employees are required to review and sign the Champ Construction Employee Handbook and follow all company policies and jobsite safety procedures.
Subcontractors must provide the following documentation:
• General Liability Insurance
• Workers’ Compensation Insurance (or exemption)
• W-9 Form
• Valid trade licenses where applicable
• Business registration documentation
• Signed Independent Contractor Agreement
