We use 20 penny galvanized Ring shank hand drive pole barn nails to fasten the building together and southern yellow pine lumber that is harder, and stronger than the typical white pine lumber. We put treated tongue in groove 2×6 splash boards around the bottom of the building to prevent separation of the boards whenever the fill gravel or concrete is applied. These buildings can be constructed on top of a concrete slab using post or stud framed walls leaving no wood having ground contact
We use 2×6 materials for the roof purlins and side girts and 40 year roofing and side wall panels. Available for turn-key projects. Our buildings are American made.

Shane Vredenburg one of the hardest working men I’ve ever met! Even with as many broken necks and backs and being in comas and screws and plates and everything else imaginable, this man gets up everyday an ready to rock. Sure he could get on a check no doubt, probably for the first thing out of a thousand things this man has injured, he could cry ole poor poor pitiful me songs, but he don’t he gets up and kicks some butt every day. He’s served his country, he’s serves his lord and savior, he’s served his family Mrs. Carla Phillip Vredenburg Tony Vredenburg Alexandra Vredenburg and helped many other throughout the years of their lives, me included. He’s not only my friend, but someone I also look up to. What a fine man. I just wanted all y’all to know how awesome I personally feel about this crazy ole timer fella right here. Even after he cut me off the ball team for skipping practices to go work and chase girls years ago I still gotta lot of love for this guy. One of my favorites!

Prayers for the Harbor family over in viola tonight. Their family business main building burned to the ground. It is heartbreaking to see for so many different reasons. I love that whole family. A family like that, the kind that works together, is strong together, will prevails together!
The sentimental’s lost for them saddens me most. Everything else will work it’s way out 🙏🏽

Whenever you’ve got guys as good as I do, that will give you their time Monday-Friday you better haul your grill out to the job site and cook them a ribeye every once in a while or we might have them next week. Just sayin!!

THE FIRST POLE FRAMED BUILDING WE BUILT.
This is what's left of a fort we built about 30 years ago. My brother Jury Sanders and I threw cedar slabs down a hill in the woods about a half mile for weeks to get them all on site. The first wall was called our tornado wall because we had not yet learned what a level was or how to use it. The slabs would be wider at one end than the other so we put all the butt ends at bottom. We are quick learners so the rest of the walls we flipped every other one to come out straighter on the end.
I remember asking my mom to pick us up some nails every now and then. They would come in a brown paper sack 2-3 lb. at a time. We swiped a couple of tarps and some rope for the roof from my dads shop and nailed us a ridge pole to a tree we set a post for the other side. We had watched our dad cut the rubber side wall out of a tire to make some hinges for the gate of a pig pen so that's what we did for hinges on our door.
We would always go down there to play and stash our most valuables, but most importantly I became best friends and built an unbreakable bond with my brother. We figured things out together and remain to do so today. We work everyday together and we are still setting post in the ground. We just have a whole lot cooler tools to do it with.
