ALERT PINELLAS: Pinellas County is monitoring Tropical Storm Rafael. While the storm and most serious impacts are forecast to remain well away from Pinellas County, the National Weather Service is forecasting 1-2 inches of rain and 1-2 feet of minor coastal flooding for Pinellas County later this week. You may experience a roof leak from previous storm damage you did not notice before. Register now for free roof tarping at www.BlueRoof.gov, and if you see a leak, document the damage and report it to your insurance and at disaster.pinellas.gov. Monitor the latest local forecasts from the National Weather Service at weather.gov/tampa.
