Our customer wanted to add a deck for a hot tub onto their existing back porch. A standard well built deck is built to withstand a pretty big BBQ party, but you’d never think to park a car on it. That’s what a hot tub is like, weighing around 8000lbs! The deck must be specially built at around triple strength. 💪
