Last Friday, the East Brunswick Astronomy Club had the pleasure of helping a local troop of Girl Scout Brownies earn their Space Science Adventurer badge! 🚀

We spent the evening exploring our solar system, diving into the phases of the Moon, with the highlight of the night: getting some hands-on telescope time. 🔭

Mother Nature cooperated with perfectly clear skies, allowing the Brownies to see a stunning first-quarter Moon and the mighty planet Jupiter (along with some of its own moons!) up close. 🙌
