Had a fantastic time attending the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau 74th Annual Meeting and recognizing the hard working people that keep Pennsylvania running strong. 💪

After getting to catch up with Neil Dembeck, Ken Sechrist, Julie Yahnke-Schrum, and Chris Hoffman I had the honor of speaking on behalf of Shipley Energy during the Ice Cream Social, enlightening those in the room about our 95 years of service in the region as well as providing reliable fuel and energy solutions.

This was followed by recognizing the achievements of our County Farm Bureaus, and having the opportunity to listen to Congressman Glenn Thompson. Pennsylvania Young Ag Proffesionals auction closed out the night with raising over $12,000!

Day 1 was a great day, but it was just the start!

Shipley Energy and I were able to find a solution for Caleb. Not only were we able to provide him with a fully outfitted double-walled tank fit for the size of his company. But we were also able to offer timely deliveries with the aid of a monitor that will allow our team to be notified when the tank is getting low.

Due to Calebs company being a heavy fuel user throughout the year, we were also able to change the level at which the monitor notifies us leaving no room for Caleb and his crew to be left without fuel in the morning. This has also lead to operations savings across his business, and also leaving no chance for incidents at the pumps. 🚙⛽️ ✔️

Thanks to Caleb for inviting me out to discuss the gaps when it came to the businesses fueling needs, we were able to help streamline their energy needs, as well as decrease the cost. 😁 💰

To those who didn’t know I’ve made a career change, I’m excited to announce my start at Shipley Energy as a Business Development Manager.

I’ve made friends with a lot of my customers on Facebook from selling them vehicles and I want to say thank you again for giving me an opportunity to earn your business. To my friends and family, thank you for supporting my business.

I’ll never forget the memories or the connections I’ve made from my time at Apple Ford of York. Incredibly grateful for the amazing support from my former coworkers. Your encouragement made a world of a difference.

This was a cool experience, I got to first meet Dennis back when I was working for Rutters #18 when I was 16. He’d always come in and get his Pall Mall Blue shorts, scratch offs, and maybe a coffee. That was pretty much his routine I became accustomed to until I was 19 leaving Rutters to pursue a career with Apple Ford of York.

5 years later and seeing Dennis every morning passing his place on the way to work I’d always try to honk to say ”Hi”

Last weekend Dennis came in and we looked at a couple different vehicles and finally landed on this 2017 Ford Escape. Being late Saturday I didn’t have the man power to go get the vehicle so we set a time for a Monday.

Monday came and I had 3 other appointments before Dennis and called him in advanced letting him know if I’m not ready 30mins before his appointment I would drive the vehicle to him, and that I did.

Tuesday we finished up paperwork and Dennis has been in his new Escape ever since. It’s a cool experience being able to make a previous customer a new one again. Thanks again Dennis for letting me help in your car buying experience, Congratulations again!
