EMTAK LLC is looking for a Software Integration & Testing
Engineer

Lead efforts to obtain, test and deploy geospatial software to the enterprise
Ensure software works properly on corporate thin (virtual) and thick client deployments
Communicate issues identified with software vendors
Develop installation packages containing enterprise specific configurations and settings; provide packages to corporate distribution organizations
Manage roadmap objectives and visions for all COTS/FOSS geospatial software (desktop and server)
Determine license levels required to meet the roadmap objectives and visions
Manage usage of COTS licenses
Develop and maintain update plans for desktop and server software
Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to create complete and thorough testing scenarios from User Story acceptance criteria
Communicate update plans, new features with users
Focus heavily on building relationships to help us achieve a common goal
Work closely with the Support team to identify root cause of issues identified in the field
Triage bugs directly related to COTS/FOSS software
Understand the architecture of the various environments and how they impact testing
Stay current on industry trends and make recommendations to the team
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast paced, team oriented environment
Maintain and improve the test environments to mimic the user environment as closely as possible
Assist in reproducing, investigating and debugging software issues in coordination with the Development and Support teams
Testing geospatial API level functionality using the REST protocols; understanding APIs in a manner to be able to assist users in consuming the APIs
