We’re excited to welcome Mark as Senior Account Executive on our Audio and Post Production team. His career has taken him from recording studios working as Lil Jon’s engineer and contributing to projects with Usher to broadcast technology, manufacturing and systems integration.

That range gives Mark an unusually wide perspective. He looks at an entire workflow, listens to what the customer is trying to accomplish, and finds ways to make everything work better together.

Mark believes that great technology can only take you so far. “Customer service is the ultimate driver in client relations,” he says. “Take care of people, and they will take care of you.”

We welcomed Nu•Studio, Avid and Grammy-nominated producer/engineer Dennis "ROC.am" Jones to ASG's Burbank Innovation Center to explore what a professional production studio looks like when it doesn’t have to be permanent.

The event put Nu•Studio’s portable, modular production space to work in a real-world setting and showed just how flexible today’s production environments can be.

There’s something special about a place that’s been designed entirely around the experience of listening to music.

That was the vision behind Birmingham’s High Dive HiFi Lounge, a new listening cafe inspired by Japan’s jazz kissa culture. Founder Bart Stephens wanted exceptional sound to be at the heart of the experience. Advanced Systems Group - ASG's audio team worked closely with multiple Grammy- and Emmy Award-winning producer and mixer Nathaniel Kunkel and acoustician Jeff Minnich to make that happen.

The result is a space where the music stays clear and balanced whether you’re sitting up front or all the way back. The sound system features 38 Harman JBL Professional speakers and 13 subwoofers.

That’s the question Advanced Systems Group - ASG President Dave Van Hoy tackles in his latest Cloud Power column for Systems Contractor News. Advanced Systems Group Promotes Michele Ferreira to Chief Business Officer

Emeryville, Calif., August 5, 2026 — Systems Group - ASG, a technology and services provider for media creatives and content owners, today announced the promotion of Michele Ferreira from Vice President of its Systems Integration team to the newly created position of Chief Business Officer. In this new role, Ferreira will report directly to Chief Financial Officer Amy Zeno.

Her new position reflects ASG's continued growth and commitment to building the operational infrastructure needed to support its’ clientele as the company expands its technology and services.
