Your vision we create! I was raised in the small town of Ferris, TX by my grandparents and my mother on what I believe to be strong moral and family values. I have carried these with me throughout my career. Being raised by my grandfather in the 80s taught me a strong work ethic. I followed my grandfather close as a young boy as we worked doing a variety of jobs that included hauling hay, mowing t
he cemeteries in town, and in his junk yard that he owned. In addition to working with my grandfather, I was with my grandmother’s brothers on a construction site from the time I was 8yrs old. At that time my job title was “Gopher”, which meant just that, I would go for this and go for that. Working from sun up to sun down wasn't a requirement or in the job description, it was just how it was. I credit my work ethic to the men of that generation. Southern Star Builders is a product of those men. Honest, hardworking, craftsmen who took pride in their work and their families. I was blessed to be taught by these men who stood on their faith, work ethic and family! Today, those still hold true in me and my family. If you show up to your job site at 6am, you may find me walking around trying to find ways to make us better. I am a father of 4 children, Giovanni, Malorie, Xavian and Maci; father in law to Madison; and a grandfather to Hope. I do this with my family for your family. In my off time you will find me with the baby of the family on the softball field, instilling those same values into her. I would also like to credit the families thus far that have trusted us to build their dream homes before we were a known builder or had the following we do now. Because of your faith in us, we continue to build dreams. You are the SSB family.
